SOC 201: Social Impact Project-Dr. Olson: Other Sources

Other Resources

Our WWCC databases contain the highest quality information possible because these database get paid a lot of money to make sure all of their content is accurate.
However, this does not mean you can not use sources from outside WWCC databases.
Listed on the right hand side are sources that also contain wonderful information. A lot of these sources come from government sponsored databases that have an obligation to provide accurate information.

You can also use Google to look for other sources but keep in mind Google will not check any of its listed websites for accuracy or validity. If you are in doubt about a Google source PLEASE EMAIL ME. I can check the source if you link me to it and help you determine if its a valid source to use for your project.

Also please look at the news bias infographic below. In todays time we have all noticed that news outlets have a lot of bias especially with regards to politics. You can use this infographic as a means to be careful with what you read from news sources that have opinion columns.

If in doubt always send me or your professor an email.
